Luncheon Meat-Lettuce Wrap

Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp- cooking oil
  • 1tbsp- char siu sauce
  • 1 tbsp- hoisin sauce
  • 2 tbsp- white sugar
  • 2 tbsp- premium soy sauce
  • 1 cup- diced carrots
  • 1 cup- diced turnip (singkamas)
  • 1 cup- rice glass noodles
  • 250g- extra-large pieces of Lettuce
  • 1/3 cup- sliced onion leaves
Sauce
  • 2 tbsp. - premium soy sauce
  • 2tbsp- white sugar
  • 1tsp- peanut butter
  • 2tbsp- mayonnaise
  • 1tbsp- char siu sauce
  • 1tbsp-hoisin sauce

Instructions

  • Wash the lettuce and pat dry. Set aside.
  • In a skillet, preheat oil and fry rice glass noodles for 5 seconds. Set aside.
  • Cut luncheon meat into small cubes. Heat up the pan and place into high heat.
  • Heat up oil, sauté onions, add diced luncheon meat, soy sauce, sugar, hoisin sauce, char siu, turnip, carrots, parsley and a pinch of five spice.
  • Sauce: in a bowl, mix mayonnaise, sugar, hoisin sauce, char siu, soy sauce and peanut butter.
  • Lay out the lettuce slices. Add meat and drizzle with sauce.
  • Roll up and enjoy!
